If you’ve been scrolling through your Winter Series 1 playlist in Forza Horizon 6, chances are the "Snack Attack" Collectibles challenge has caught your eye. The premise is simple enough: find and smash five vending machines. Pulling this off earns you 3 crucial Festival Playlist points and unlocks the exclusive 2023 Lotus Emira. However, there is a catch that has left plenty of players scratching their heads. Vending machines do not show up on your mini-map. Unlike bonus boards or major landmarks, you can't just drop a GPS waypoint and cruise over. Completing this challenge cleanly requires you to manually scan storefronts while driving through tight city streets, or better yet, head straight to guaranteed cluster locations where multiple machines sit side by side. Here is exactly how to find them, along with a sneaky trick to finish the challenge in under a minute using a single machine. Guaranteed Cluster LocationsIf you want to knock this out the traditional way by exploring the map, you will want to target areas where these props group up heavily. Here are the best spots to find them fast: Minamino Golf Course (The Absolute Easiest Route)This is by far the quickest hotspot on the map. Make your way over to the eastern side of the golf course, which sits just south of Shirakawa-Go. Look for the 365 Convenience Store located right near the Airfield Trail dirt race start point. Right outside the storefront, you will spot three vending machines lined up neatly. If you look directly to the left against the same building, there are two more. You can literally smash all five here in a single five-second pass. Northwest Tokyo CityIf you prefer a more urban backdrop, head over to the northwest sector of Tokyo City, specifically southwest of the Edogawa Baseball Stadium. Pull up under the massive highway overpass and look for the local gas station. There are two vending machines sitting right on the station lot, and a third one tucked just around the corner against an adjacent building wall. Central Tokyo (Raku Raku Area)Another excellent city hub is the Tokyo City food delivery area. Right next to the main food stand, you will find two vending machines standing out in the open. After smashing those, take a quick peek into the narrow alleyway just around the corner—there are three more hidden inside, giving you exactly what you need to finish the tally. The "Rewind" Fast MethodDon't want to drive all over the place hunting down separate locations? You don't have to. There is a classic Horizon menu exploit that lets you complete the entire challenge using just one single vending machine. If you want to save time and get back to racing, follow these quick steps: Switch to Solo Mode: Open your pause menu, navigate to settings, and temporarily switch your game over to Horizon Solo mode. This ensures your world state is completely local and lets you manipulate the rewind feature smoothly. Find One Machine: Find any single vending machine on the map—the convenience store or gas station storefronts mentioned above work perfectly for this. Smash It: Drive straight into the machine to smash it. Keep an eye out for the "Feed Me!" Skill Point chain to trigger on your screen, which confirms the smash registered for the challenge. Hit Rewind: The moment the notification pops up, hit the Rewind button on your controller to instantly reset your car back to its position right before the impact. Repeat: Accelerate forward and smash the exact same, freshly reset vending machine again. Repeat this simple loop five times, and the game will instantly hand you the challenge completion.
Once you are done, don't forget to pop back into your menus to flip your game back to online Horizon Life mode if you want to see other players again. Enjoy your brand new 2023 Lotus Emira, and happy hunting out there on the streets!
